Calcium chloride, a salt of an element consisting of chlorine and calcium, the formula CaCl2. Colorless cubic crystal, white or grayish white, granular, honeycomb block, spherical, irregular granular, powdery. It is slightly toxic, odorless and slightly bitter. It is a typical ionic halide and is a white solid at room temperature. It is extremely hygroscopic and is easily deliquescent when exposed to air. Third, uses
1, oil drilling, drilling working fluid, completion fluid, petrochemical dehydration liquid.
